Rah Hite is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, beatmaker, and DJ from Delaware and South Philadelphia. Under the alias of Rah V (Rah the Fifth), their compositions feature a diverse fusion of hip hop and jazz influence. His artist-scholarship prioritizes sampling and considers its compositional application within the discourse of Black Sound Studies. Their most recent album, Triple Consciousness, discusses environmental topics alongside other societal perspectives. Rah has composed in several collaborations which include: Sinta Storms’ Modero & Co. , the Coastal Conservatory alongside CoPe grant researchers, and Dr. S.
